(Now Fully Booked) Encaustic Wax & Mixed Media Workshop -
24th February 2024. 2pm - 4pm.
I can’t wait to meet everyone at this workshop and share the fun way to do a spot of ironing. With demonstrations along the way, we will be taking inspiration from local gardens, melting encaustic wax with an iron, carving details into the tactile surface and painting with oils, resins and vibrant powdered pigments. Everyone will come away with their own A4 work of art on a cradled panel, ready to hang on their wall. All materials provided as well as tea and cakes.
Online Solo Exhibition with Art in the Waiting Room, Camphill Medical Practice 19th March - 7th May 2024
I am very excited to be showing my work with Art in the Waiting Room. I am currently working on a collection of work that will be available for the first time during this online exhibition. 25% of all sales will go directly to fund Camphill’s fantastic projects and I will be making some chatty videos about my work and my processes for the online opening. If you are local to Aberdeen, you will be more than welcome to come to my studio by appointment to see the paintings in person.
Encaustic Wax & Mixed Media Nature Inspired Workshop with Stonehaven Art Group - 29th June 2024. 10:30am - 3pm.
I am excited to guide this lovely group of people through each stage of my unusual encaustic wax and mixed media process. We will be taking inspiration from local gardens.
Pop-up Shop, Hy Stonehaven, 6th - 11th August 2024.
I am really looking forward to sharing the Pop-up Shop again with my Dad who beautifully upcycles furniture - my paintings will feature on some of them too. There will be a variety of new paintings inspired by local gardens, homeware and stationery gifts featuring my artwork as well as handmade jewellery available.
North East Open Studios 2024, my home studio in Kingswells
Always the highlight of my year, the North East Open Studios is a fantastic opportunity to meet local artists and I always love making a little exhibition in the shed, summerhouse studio and dining room, welcoming lovely visitors with home bakes and cups of tea.
